A new selection of the quirky teapots and jugs by Lindy Martin.
“The pieces are always handbuilt and do not hide the marks which show how they are made. The material is not disguised either, I like to let the clay have a say in its form and texture and choose firings in which the actions of the flames make their own marks”

We will be joined here in Galeri on Sunday 9th July by the Artist Valerie Lewin, who will be painting upstairs in the gallery from 11am to 4pm. Do please come and meet Val, who will be only too happy to chat about her work – acrylic paint on wood is her favoured medium. Children are welcome too – there will be space for them to join in and get creative!
Valerie has been living in North Wales since 2002 ; inspired by her new surroundings, her work also echoes her extensive travels in South East Asia and Australia. The paintings are a happy fusion of pattern, clear bright colour and natural themes – folk art to make you smile!
