Wini Jones Lewis

We always have a good variety of work by Wini Jones Lewis in The Galeri.

The spirit of Wini Jones Lewis’s homeland has always provided a constant source of inspiration and a strong influence on her creative practice. With sketchbook in hand, Wini explores the landscapes around her, capturing the elements that draw her eye, from dramatic weather and shifting light to the ever-changing patterns, colours, and shadows found in nature.

Her most recent body of work was inspired by her time in Australia, where new landscapes, textures, colours, and natural forms offered a fresh perspective and creative direction. The richness of the environment, alongside the relationship between people and the land, continues to shape the themes that flow through her work.

Through her art, Wini reflects a deep connection to place, exploring the atmosphere, character, and quiet stories held within the landscapes that inspire her, whether close to home or discovered further afield.
