Ann Lewis

A good variety of both framed and unframed pieces available.

Born in St Asaph, Denbighshire, Ann Lewis now lives in a small village south of Conwy, surrounded by far-reaching views across the Conwy Valley and towards the Carneddau mountains. The landscape and sense of place around her continue to provide a strong source of inspiration for her work.

Ann graduated from Exeter College of Art & Design in 1988 with an Honours Degree in Graphic Design and was drawn back to Wales, where she worked as a freelance designer and illustrator until 1995. During this time, she created illustrations for children’s books, book covers, editorial features, advertising campaigns, and graphic design projects for a wide range of clients across Wales and the UK.

After becoming an Associate Member of the Royal Cambrian Academy in 1992, and a full member the following year, Ann’s focus gradually shifted from illustration and design towards painting and printmaking. Her distinctive linocuts and artwork reflect her close connection with landscape, place, and the visual character of Wales.

Ann’s original linocuts are available as framed and unframed works, showcasing her skill and love for this expressive form of printmaking.
