Richard King

Richard King is a Birmingham-based artist and experienced art teacher with over 20 years’ experience and a Master’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Wolverhampton.

Inspired by nature, light and the atmospheric qualities of Turner, Richard creates vibrant landscapes and seascapes using his distinctive technique of painting backwards onto the reverse side of glass. His work explores the beauty of the natural world and his passion for protecting it, with his ongoing Fragile Planet theme highlighting places threatened by environmental change.
