Alex Campbell

Alex Campbell was a British Modernist Painter, born in Dukinfield, Cheshire in 1936. He moved to Nannerch North Wales in 1973 where there was a wealth of natural beauty and social history for a professional artist to exploit. His work has been described as " a merger of all the European art movements at the beginning of the Twentieth Century". Using recognised colour theories, he would add unique ideas of his own in the striking images he created. Alex sadly passed away in 2022.
