Alwyn Dempster Jones
A graduate of Manchester College of Art and Design and Cardiff University, Alwyn is a freelance painter/illustrator and has had artwork reproduced by The Sunday Times, The Times Educational Supplement, The Observer, and many periodicals. He has produced advertisements for Yorkshire Television, designed and illustrated books and other publications as well as exhibitions for The National Trust, The Rambler’s Association, The Concrete and Cement Association, The Welsh Books Council, Kellogg’s, Marks & Spencer, BBC and many others.
His paintings are exhibited in major galleries throughout the country and his work is found in many public and private collections in this country and in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, France, Germany and Chile.
Mae Alwyn, a raddiodd yng Ngholeg Celf a Dylunio Manceinion a Phrifysgol Caerdydd, yn arlunydd/darlunydd llawrydd ac mae ei waith celf wedi’i atgynhyrchu gan The Sunday Times, Atodiad Addysg y Times, The Observer a llawer o gyfnodolion. Mae wedi creu hysbysebion ar gyfer Yorkshire Television, mae wedi dylunio a darlunio llyfrau a chyhoeddiadau eraill yn ogystal ag arddangosfeydd i’r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol, Cymdeithas y Cerddwyr, Y Gymdeithas Concrit a Sment, Cyngor Llyfrau Cymru, Kellogg’s, Marks & Spencer, y BBC a llawer mwy.
Mae ei baentiadau yn cael eu harddangos mewn orielau amlwg ar hyd a lled y wlad ac mae ei waith wedi’i gynnwys mewn llawer o gasgliadau cyhoeddus a phreifat yn y DU ac UDA, Canada, Seland Newydd, De Affrica, Awstralia, Ffrainc, yr Almaen a Chile.
