Catherine Taylor Parry

I am very lucky to live in a beautiful area and my  work is inspired by the landscape and constantly changing weather around my  home in a village in North Wales.

I paint on canvas and paper and my work is full of colour, bright and muted, texture and feeling. I draw, paint or print using a mix of materials and techniques, creating atmosphere and suggestions of poetic landscape. I enjoy the texture and movement of acrylic paint and the excitement of putting colour and marks together.

Although I have had MS since 1996, I love to break my boundaries with bursts of colour. 

 

I have an Honours degree in Fine Art/Painting and a PGCE in Art and Design and my work is in Galleries and private collections throughout theUK
