Sarah Anderson

'I have been making silver jewellery from my workshop in Snowdonia since 2000.   Some of my designs however date back to the seventies when I was teaching in London and attended night school with Rod Edwards an Australian Jeweller.  I also learnt a great deal from Rauni Higson a jeweller and silversmith from Talysarn.

During 2009 I made crown for the National Eisteddfod.  This was a wonderful commission and the repercussion from making it has been a new direction away from geometric designs to more fluid, organic work.  In  2011 I made the crown for the Welsh student union’s eisteddfod.

I am a member of the Gwynedd and Clwyd Craftworkers association and the Wales Craft Council'.

The Galeri is lucky enough to be the last stockists of Sarah Andersons beautiful jewellery. We have a range of silver jewellery available varying from the Eryri range to the Himalayan range.
